Serene, soulful vocals and organic dreamscapes are at the heart of Jasmine’s sound. Her Brazilian-American roots blend together in a gentle breeze of indie folk, Latin pop, and bossa nova influences. Described as both minimalist and cinematic, sweet and powerful, her songs explore themes of nature, human connection, and love. Seasons spent in the mountains of South Africa, in the old cities of Spain, on vast American landscapes, and along the Brazilian coast have brought her music to life with a wide array of sonic color and natural beauty, offering listeners an oasis for the imagination.
Her serene voice and talent for composition earned her an award at the BMI Latin Awards for the song “Amanhecer,” which received the 14th Annual Peermusic Scholarship in 2018, helping to fund her Master’s degree in Music Production at Berklee College of Music. At the 2021 International Songwriting Competition she was a finalist together with Spanish singer-songwriter Víctor Hernández for their song, “A Tu Lado,” which was later featured on Putumayo’s Acoustic Latino compilation in 2023.
Jasmine’s debut singles, “O Vale do Amor,” “A Tu Lado,” “Canção Para Ela,” “Waves of the Sea,” “Amanhecer,” and a cover of Antônio Carlos Jobim’s “Corcovado,” are now available on all major digital platforms.
